The Turing Hydro app connects to your Turing Hydro device using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The following data is processed:

• Sensor readings: pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and water temperature streamed from your device in real time.
• Device identifiers: BLE device name and address, used solely to identify and connect to your device.
• Firmware version: read from the device for OTA update checks.

Sensor data is displayed in the app and, if you are signed in, synced to your account on our servers so you can review historical readings. We do not sell this data or share it with third parties.

Website & Account

• Account information: name and email address when you create an account or place an order.
• Order information: shipping address and purchase history needed to fulfill orders.
• Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and improve the Service.
• To process and fulfill orders.
• To deliver OTA firmware updates to your device.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Bluetooth Permission

The mobile app requests Bluetooth and location permissions solely to scan for and connect to your Turing Hydro device. We do not use these permissions to track your physical location or share location data with any third party.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law or to operate essential infrastructure (e.g., hosting providers bound by data processing agreements).

6. Data Retention

Account and sensor data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. We apply industry-standard security practices to protect data at rest. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
